Our client, is one of the international manufacturing companies with manufacturing sites, R&D sites and offices locating across worldwide. Its products are being used in different applications including automotive, telecommunications and so on. They are now inviting a qualified finance professional with experience to work in PRC and manufacturing environment whilst with solid knowledge in US GAAP accounting requirements and reporting standards to join their team in China.

Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Financial Controls
  • Manage and ensure efficient financial systems, process and controls
  • Ensuring maximum productivity and oversee the continuous improvement of accounting and financial processes and the development of the team with the goal to achieve best practices and optimal output
  • Develop and oversee accounting policies and procedures 
  • Oversee the external audit, review and analyze results and recommend for approval the audited financial statements
  • Oversee the cash management function, including banking relationships
  • Ensure the foundation is in compliance with all internal policies and relevant regulations and ensure filings are completed in a timely manner
  • Develop and oversee the internal review function to ensure that finance and operations controls and policies are in place
  • USGAAP, SOX compliance and understand the local taxation policy
2. Cash and risk management
  • Manage ongoing banking relationships to maximum efficiency
  • Develop and maintain a long term cash forecast
  • Responsible for the management of the companyĆ¢€™s insurance and risk management program
  • Oversee the annual insurance renewal process and ensure appropriate coverage is maintained at all times
  • Ensure appropriate legal review of contracts and solicit external legal advice as required
3. Staff management & Leadership
  • Provide for appropriate career building and professional development activities to ensure a climate of growth for all employee groups
  • Routinely monitor workplace for areas where growth is needed or possible and where existing resources can be further enhanced
  • Ensure the team delivers the highest standard of departmental, cross departmental and cross foundation teamwork and customer service
  • Develop finance and accounting team goals that are fully aligned with the key objectives of the company
  • Provide coaching, guidance and support, set professional development plans to assist employees to reach their full potential through the performance evaulation process
4. Management reporting
  • Responsible for financial management reporting for the company and provide recommendations and advice to management team on financial issues
  • Present monthly and year-to-date financials with accompanying analysis of results
  • Develop regular reporting and analysis, including key metrics reports, and conduct ad hoc financial analysis as required
5. Budgeting
  • Lead the annual business plan development and budgeting process
  • Provide ongoing financial modeling and analysis expertise to business partners
  • Lead the financial modeling and analysis to support the development of long term strategic initiatives and business plans

Requirements:

  • Degree or above in Finance, Accounting or in related disciplines
  • Qualified finance professional (CPA, ACCA) is a MUST
  • Minimum 10 years of accounting experiences serving in sizable organization
  • Candidates with experience working in PRC and manufacturing environment will be highly preferable
  • Familiar with US GAAP accounting requirements and reporting standards is a MUST
  • Good analytical skills in financial control, cash flow, forecast, budgeting with strong PC skills including MS Office and computer-based accounting system, SAP knowledge is advantageous
  • Sound knowledge of PRC accounting standards and tax regulations
  • Excellent command in both spoken and written English, Chinese, and Mandarin
  • Strong business acumen and able to provide analytical analysis to senior management
  • Strong principle-oriented, capable to analysis and balance the interest between business and Finance principles
  • Willing to station in China
