Job Description:
This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Accounts Assistant to join a dynamic Stockbroking and FX trading firm based in the heart of London’s financial district.
Authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority our client provides equities, CFDs, and FX trading opportunities to an established base of retail customers.  Due to ongoing expansion they are now seeking an Accounts Assistant to join the team.
Working alongside the Director of Finance and Operations you will provide the essential support to the Accounts Department ensuring the accurate and timely processing of information and data.  On a day-to-day basis expect to be involved with Bank reconciliations (including Foreign Currency & Supplier), purchase ledgers, creditor / debtor analysis, commission calculations, invoice preparation plus much more.
The successful candidate will be exposed to all areas of accounts preparation and as a result should possess excellent organisation skills and a good working knowledge in the following areas:
  • Sage Line 50 – including includes bank reconciliations, petty cash, direct debits, Sage Payroll, VAT Returns, purchase and sales ledgers and credit control;
  • Advanced Excel skills (i.e. Marco and Micro level);
  • ACCA part-qualified (preferred but not essential).
