Material Planning & Cost Control Specialist (Monitor transaction in SAP related to consumption, inventory and other production reports from time to time and highlight the variances)
JOB PURPOSE: To plan materials for specific production cells, in line with MRP system requirements. The role will monitor and track top running items to allow forecasting ensuring system models are maintained using business intelligence and forecast information gathered from different sources i.e. customer and supplier data.Ensuring the cost of newly developedproductswithin the measured bench mark, and work delegation/supervision to his direct subordinates
Job Description :
Materials planning, ordering and inventory control
- Checking raw materials, packaging & consumables, inventory, incoming deliveries and raise PurchaseRequisition as needed.
-Follow-up delivery status with Purchasing Department especially for critical materials.
- Prepare material stock analysis, orders and consumption reports for monthly review.
- Highlight non-moving materials for possible use to reduce inventory cost.

Monitor production process andraw materials/semi-finished goodsreceipts, issuance, consumption, inventory and process wastage.
- Check material flow in production and prepare process wastage report.
- Check and verify quantity of recovery glaze from Glazing Line, scrapping and receiving it in GP02 storage location using MIGO Movement Type 551 & 552 in SAP.

Prepare the BOM for cost evaluation based on the cost benchmark
Standard capacity & costing plan preparation and review
- Prepare/update production target and standard costing related to raw materials, packing, consumables and utilities.
- Provide monthly production and cost variance analysis reports to Manufacturing Team and Accounts Department.
Prepare and submit Estimated Monthly Consumption of natural gas, electricity &fresh water
Conduct monthly Work In-Progress, raw materials & packaging physical stock taking in production, consolidate, finalize and submit the inventoryreports to Accounts Department.
Monitor transaction in SAP related to consumption, inventory and other production reports from time to time and highlight the variances.

Minimum Qualifications: Ceramic Degree Holder
Minimum Experience:  3-8yrs Supervisory Experience in Ceramic Tile Industry

Generic Skills:
Good English knowledge
Time management
Ability to work with people and work under stress
Skilled at confronting and supporting staff
MRP Experience
Experience of statistical reporting, forecasting and understanding of financial and operational impacts offorecasting
Experiencein ceramic raw materials and ceramic tile manufacturing process.
Wide knowledge and experience in production planning, materials planning, inventory control and product costing.
