Eaton
Electrical is seeking for an IT Analyst, Sales & Marketing for
Eaton's Electrical business in the Middle East. The location for this
position is Dubai, UAE.
The primary
role is within the Sales and Marketing IT team responsible for front end
processes and systems. With a focus on our customer’s experience the
role is tasked with ensuring sales teams are informed and efficient,
that customer’s expectations are surpassed when interacting with us and
to enable our marketing groups with analysis and execution tools to
facilitate a proactive conversation with our customers via our sales
teams and digital channels.
The Analyst role will successfully deliver solutions within:
o CRM (Sales pipeline, case management and analytics)
o Business analytics for sales, orders and customer analysis
o Support the sales and marketing team with all platforms and solutions to enable the growth plans
Essential functions include:
. Meet with
decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define, document, and
communicate business requirements. Identify systems goals and solutions
to systems issues.
. Work in
partnership with business users on business requirements, processes, and
systems. Provide knowledge and input to the business on the system
implications of business process changes.
. Support and
drive business partners in defining target business processes by
assessing current processes, globally and cross-organizationally. Help
identify consolidated, worldwide target processes.
. Collaborate
across the organization to ensure seamless system integration across all
business applications, systems, platforms, and infrastructure in the
global computing environment.
. Analyze
business requirements, assess alternative solutions, design develop and
implement application system solutions adhering to Eaton standards.
. Participate
in unit testing, integration testing support, and review of business
training materials and initiate improvements for this processes.
. Understand and support security role identification.
. Identify the
customer’s needs by utilizing effective interviewing skills that ask
questions which surface essential requirements information.
. Demonstrate
analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from
multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information
into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general
understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying
true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements
. Negotiate priorities and resolve conflicts among project stakeholders, customers, product management and engineering.
. Liaison with
IT solution providers (internal & external) regarding the progress
of projects, problem resolution and advice as required.
. Effectively
use workflow and process diagrams when explaining company-standard
supply-chain processes and when capturing business requirements.
. Assist in
managing requests for new technology solutions or enhancements to
existing technology, according to client/agreed priorities.
. Work with the business sponsor(s) to document and articulate the vision and the project’s scope.
. Elicit
requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements
workshops, storyboards, site visits, business process descriptions, use
cases, scenarios, event lists, business analysis, competitive product
analysis, task and workflow analysis, and/or viewpoints.
. Assist in
managing requests for new technology solutions or enhancements to
existing technology, according to client/agreed priorities.
. Lead
requirements analysis and verification, ensuring that requirement
statements are complete, comprehensible, feasible and verifiable, and
that they conform to standards.
. Manage changes to baseline requirements through effective application of change control processes and tools.
. Coordinate
user acceptance testing, plan/coordinate deployment, design appropriate
measures to report on success and client user acceptance of technical
implementations sting and ensure customer satisfaction.
. Effectively
manage requirements scope and disposition through process compliance and
gap analysis, integration testing, and user acceptance methodology.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)
• CRM knowledge and skill, preferable Oracle Siebel, Microsoft Dynamics, SalesForce.
• Aptitude to learn new software/systems.
• Strong communications and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrable BI skills & driving business analytics in sales & marketing
• Flexible and adaptable to immediate requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree – IT or Business.
• 5+ years related business experience.
• Preferable to have wider experience in business processes, end to end order
