Writemaintenance procedures and work instructions, prepare schedules and proceduresfor actual working.
-
Preparecontract specifications for maintenance, modifications and one-offprojects.
-
Ensure thatthere are adequate levels of strategic, breakdown and general spares in thewarehouse.

Managemaintenance activities within the tight schedules.
-
Provideexpert
technical guidance and advice whenever required. Prepare andmanage
sectional budgets Provides input for plant’s yearly business plan.

Participatein recruitment process of technicians and engineers.

| Job Specification: |
-
Experienced in carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment at power plant.
-
Hands-on
experience of preventive / corrective maintenance and trouble-shooting
on equipment like air-cooled generators, diesel generators, power
transformers, motors, Numerical Protection relays (ABB / GE
experience preferred), Excitation system (EX2100 preferred) , HV / LV
/SF6 switchgear (ABB experience preferred), UPS and DC system.

Practical knowledge of grounding, lightning protection, surge protection, motor control UPS systems.

Knowledge and experience of applicable standards and codes, especially NFPA70E.
-
Good knowledge of controls systems will be considered a plus.

Should have 4 years of experiences in relevant field.

Should have BE-Electrical Degree.
