The Role



British Design practice who have exceptional reputation designing and delivering projects in the Middle East from their Dubai operation over the last 30 years are looking for a representative to work on a London based project.

This project will be located on a prominent London site, of high end residential nature and require an autonomous professional who can oversee the project from London, reporting into the UAE operation.

This is an opportunity to predominantly manage this initial project with a view to expanding a London based operation, winning future projects and overseeing a small but growing design office.
This professional will manage consultant and contractor procurement, manage projects from design to completion/contract administration.
Managing client and local authority relationships, this person will be responsible for ensuring smooth project delivery within budget and time guidelines.

Overseeing a small team with a view to growing the practice sustainably, this person hands on projects and operationally.

Requirements



This individual will have large multi-disciplinary project experience in a leading role, have managed high end residential projects in London and with previous Westminster City Council liaison experience.
With a Bachelor of Architecture and RIBA Part 3 qualification from a reputed University this Architect will have shown excellent design and technical skills across a range of successfully delivered projects in London/UK.

Excellent communication skills are required to interface with existing clients, whilst identifying new potential clients. Previous team management experience is required and even smaller studio management experience is ideal.

The ability to perform under pressure, whilst working autonomously is crucial.

This candidate will ideally be based in London already with recent London project delivery experience.
